I am really glad I tried this book by this new author, and I think he shows a lot of promise, so I am looking forward to his next book and will definitely buy it! Not only does the book very soon turn into an interesting and strange adventure, it also introduces you to many characters and makes you wonder how in the world all of these characters are going to be woven into the end result; and I like those kind of stories very much--the kind where you are constantly wondering how and when their lives are all going to intertwine. Then, when the action parts start to come into play, and just when you are thinking, "Oh, I know how this is going to come down--the same kind of overwritten bad guys get caught and/or shot" predictable and boring story wrap-up; you will find so many unique and even "far-out" surprises, making it hard to put the book down! Last but not least, there is a somewhat unexpected warm afterglow the book leaves you with in the end--an element of proof of good things in good peoples' lives being more than mere coincidences. OH, I ALMOST FORGOT TO TELL YOU--the chapter titles and pictures add great entertainment to your digital experience of this book also!Product details

I was lucky to be one of the first to read this book when Steven Davey first wrote it and asked me to look it over in its first draft form. What an honor! I began reading it as if I were editing it, and got totally caught up in the story from the first page, forgetting completely to look for any errors. This is an exciting, fun, extremely well-written novel with characters the reader can sympathize with and enjoy knowing. The story is great, filled with humor, excitement, suspense, sadness, and a fantastic plot. I'm looking very forward to reading more books from this incredible new writer. We want more, Steven!
